I find sea creatures most odd but totally beautiful and inspiring for art. This piece of empty lobster shell is a ready art object itself. I couldn't resist making a picture with it and compiled a kind of still life using opened clementine, bay leaf and walnut, complement with fragments of a plate with a blue pattern. I focused a lot on fine work with details, tried to express the texture of the shell with contrast color spots and flecks, its curved forms
Mostly I like red flippers, brightly colored and remind butterfly wings.
