Hi, I am Yana, a watercolor artist from Ukraine.

I fled the war and spent a year living in different countries. Now I am returning home.

For a long time, I could not create art.

After a month of the war, I found the strength to paint again. I started working on a collection of beautiful Ukrainian women in traditional clothing, accessory, and flower crowns.
This is yet another portrait of a Ukrainian girl smiling, surrounded by typical golden spica. It is one of the symbols of Ukraine. This is the Future of Ukraine that soon will come.
Spica or wheat ears are iconic plants of Ukraine and they will grow again on our land bringing food and prosperity.
This artwork symbolizes the peace that we are so looking for and hope that helps us to get through this.
