Original artwork description:
“Water and Sand” suffered lots of transformations. It was my first structure painting so I have a soft spot for this one. I realized the structure part with basic ingredients I had at home because I had no structure paste at hand at that moment. It was initially painted in taints of pink and white with a black sun in the middle but I’ve decided that the diagonal that cuts the canvas actually reminds of the sea.
