I was inspired by Impressionism, Claude Monet, Giverny, and my Florida tropical garden.

About the process:
This piece was started with no preconceived notion of how the painting would be completed. This is by design, as there is something magical about the painting being spontaneous, with only a certain amount of control over the final result.

For me, I see an abstract painting of Water Lily Pond, flowers, plants, a little river, butterflies, birds, pink orchids, white and purple water-lilies, and other beautiful aspects of nature. But the real beauty of art is that it is what each of us sees and how we interpret the piece that makes it unique in our home.



Original painting on gallery wrapped canvas.
Painting is stretched on a supported 1.5 inch wooden frame.
Only high quality artist grade acrylic paint and mediums are used.
The painting is hand signed and dated on the back.
The edges of the canvas are painted and it is ready to hang.
