Original artwork description:

This oil painting is inspired by Monet.
In the foreground we see the overgrown surface of the pond. The water reflects sedges and trees that grow on the shore. The graceful bridge in the style of Hokusai visually devides the canvas into two parts. The bridge reminds of the human presence in this idyllic place. We want to walk along it, stand in the middle and admire the view that opens.
Numerous water lilies are depicted with white, pink and blue strokes. They bring a sense of life to the picture. Looking at the canvas, you hear birds chirping and insects buzzing. You feel the light breeze and the warmth of the sun.

Materials used:

Winsor&Newton oil colors and a palette knife
