This one actually started out as a blue painting and it can still be seen in the small visible patches of blue. But since at that time it was not going anywhere I chose to set the blue of water on fire with flames of red, orange, and yellow, and also smokey black. ...and the title of the painting was born. Enjoy this intense pallet-knife painting in acrylics.
