Original artwork description:

This is a painting on watercolour paper in gouache. Orang-utans are my favourite of all our closely related primate cousins and I fell in love with the wise look on this fella's face as he watches the viewer watching him in captivity.

This was painted from a reference photo on the Paint My Photo website (a reference resource created specifically for artists to use photos taken by very talented photographers)

It is unframed but will be mounted in an ivory mount.
