Original artwork description:

This delightful Cavalier King Charles Spaniel was created in pastel from a photo donated by Kerli Toode through the Facebook group "Photos for Artists" I loved the cheeky expression and could imagine his eyes following me around the room as he waited for his walk ( or dinner!) I enjoyed creating the details in pastel pencils to give the completed painting a 3D effect!

Materials used:

Soft pastels, pastel pencils, clairefontaine pastelmat paper
