Artwork description:

This print is a ghost print taken from a reduction linocut print that is also for sale on Artfinder. The print was the result of pressing the paper onto the printed linocuts to lift off excess ink and pull back layers on the other images. This resulted in a series of Ghost Prints that capture a reverse image of Watchet Rock, and it reminded me of the stamp filter you can find in Adobe Photoshop.

I felt this image has its own life, liking the print marks made as a result of a secondary printing from the main print.

Materials used:

Waterbased Printing Ink on Conqueror Paper Stock
