Artwork description:

This print explores my one of my favourite places in West Somerset on West Beach in Watchet. The woodcut print is a rendering of The Rock that can be seen at low tide on the West Beach that connects Watchet to Blue Anchor.

The image was created using a printing method of printing ink on one sheet, step by step and then pressing through a press onto another sheet, transferring the image in full to form an impression of the image.

The print has been framed in a small mount cut frame and paced in a polybag for its protection. It forms a limited run of these styles of prints, exploring this form I am drawn back to on a regular basis.
