Artwork description:

This is an Artist Print using the local rock from Watchet, Somerset. The print was a testing study in using the local material in producing printing ink when I was on a residency at Contains Art. The monotype print has been printed on salmon colour paper and explores the use of the handmade printing ink and exploring the way in which to utilise the material.

This is signed as an Artist Print.

Materials used:

Handmade Natural Rock Pigment on Salmon Paper, Medium, Linseed Oil, Dammar Varnish.
