Original artwork description:

I spent many years finding inspiration in my home country, Ghana. When I began studying images of Native Americans I noticed many similarities between them and my own people. Together we have seen a lot over the course of history. While there are painful similarities, through my works I want to present a message of strength, courage, and inspiration.
This painting is part of the series, "Fade of Culture."

Materials used:

Acrylic paint on canvas, wood stretcher bars, solid matte black wood frame, hanging wire is attached
