Original artwork description:

*This painting won Jurors' selection for ArtPOP Lehigh Valley and will be featured on billboards throughout the Lehigh Valley, PA for the entire 2017 year.

One of my more traditional landscape paintings filled with ghost trees and fine painted details in the hills. The ghost trees remind us we and all things are temporary in our environment. Where we stand, there once was a different landscape and it will continue to evolve.

I painted this one during a particularly cold spell late in winter. The yellow became a vision of warmth I desired and hoped was just over the hills and on its way soon!

Materials used:

acrylic, tape (removed)
