I set out to paint at a local plant nursery to finish a piece I had started on a sunny day before. Luck would have it that it was 20 degrees colder and rainy the following day. I was relieved to find cover under a white tent where I created this second painting of the autumn display. The arching tufts of corn stalks in both warm and cool light captivated my interest in this scene.
