This large mixed media painting is part of an ongoing series of works informed by my many walks beside the vast marshlands of the Dee estuary. I first began this painting after a walk on a warm summers day. The air was warm and hazy and the marshland grasses swayed rhythmically in the peaceful summer breeze.
It has lots of different textures and interesting marks. This artwork has white painted sides so no need for framing and has been fitted with chord so is ready to hang. It has been signed on the side and sealed with a matt acrylic varnish.
