These three irises on the same branch I carried home in the sun of a hot summer day. So that they did not fade, I inserted the tip of the twig into my bottle of drinking water, and so carried it in my hands. They did not fade. They burned at home like three solar lights, and I painted them.

Oil on a gallery canvas, signed and dated on the back.

Coated with UV and dust protective varnish.
