Original artwork description:

As a special favour from my friend Keith Collins, I was very privileged to be able to stay at Prospect Cottage, Dungeness (Derek Jarman's former getaway). I considered myself incredibly lucky to have very varied weather conditions, during my four day visit. This is one of a series of paintings about those different lights and moods created by the weather.

Each day, I made my way to the beach at dawn, to see what the light was doing. This painting was inspired by the first day which was gloriously warm for October. On deep edge box canvas and ready to hang, it comes with a certificate of authenticity and is signed on the back.
