This is a completely unique and original Preston M. Smith Pop Surrealist painting on wood. It was just released from the artist's private collection and is the second in a series of black and white pieces with hints of vibrant color to accent certain aspects of the subject matter. They are a mixture of oil paint and ink on wood. The woman in this piece stands defiantly staring out at the viewer, almost daring us to f#?k with her. It is like a street art, contemporary version of an old western Wanted poster. This painting has a strong street/urban art feel to it and incorporates symbols and patterned shapes. It draws you in and intrigues you to know what the story is behind the defiant stare and accusation of the woman in question. This large piece is priced to sell and is a great value to the collector. Note: This painting is painted on wood and comes in a black frame that was created by the artist himself. The collector might want to re-frame it, but that is up to his/her preference. The handmade quality of the frame adds to the street/urban quality of the overall piece.
