Original artwork description:

This image explore memories inspired from walks in and around the South West of England and abroad, where one does not follow a path, but come away from the path and form a new trail.

The painting uses a variety of rock and soil pigments to create the painting, through allowing the natural movement of walking to determine where the liquids and material sits. Through this process of making whilst walking, the materials are influenced through the natural movement through space. Here the image appears to form an image as though one is moving towards a lightened area, awaiting to arrive and see beyond the horizon and beyond.

Handmade Rock Pigment, Watchet Rocks, Medium, Linseed Oil, Medium, seawater from a hole left by a fossil hunter.
