Original artwork description:

The wall sculpture made from the distinctive root wood of an oak tree offers us several options for presentation. It can be individually decorated with a stone found on a hike, and a picture of your personal favorite mountain can also be attached to the back. In the image examples I show my personal favorite, the Matterhorn in the Swiss Alps. Please note, this picture and the boulder are not part of the delivery. It is the task of the future owner to complete this with their own ideas, because it should be an individual work of art. Even without this suggested decoration, a wild mountain landscape is carefully worked into the relief in dialogue with the circumstances and is ready for the wall. The edges are partially burned with fire and sealed with wax, so the contours stand out and bring the elements to life. The satin glossy surface is finely sanded and treated with water-repellent wax. The arrangements have been made on the back; all it takes is a single nail or screw to hang the 3.3 kilogram sculpture on a wall. The dimensions are 51 x 46 cm and 6 cm deep. The roko (Roland Kopfer) logo is carved and a certificate with the work number 1059 is included in the shipment. A very unusual gift for every nature and mountain lover who enjoys all the weathering. The wood has been stored and dried for many years, no cracks or warping are to be expected. The durability of oak is not a problem at all even when used outdoors. It should be noted that the wall could discolor due to the tannins escaping.
