More on the ‘walking’ theme. I kept the background simple to bring out the strength of the body language.
The paper I use is a traditional mulberry paper handmade in Thailand. It’s a thick parchment paper, strong yet pliable. The paper is made to this size to get the unique, uneven deckled edges which adds to the overall textural effect. The close up picturesare to get a feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting.
Then there's the work in progress, and me holding up the painting to give an idea of size.
