I really like rainy days; they become special because of the nostalgia and caution they harbor. In this piece, I seek to capture that atmosphere, the water falling from the sky, the wet ground, the houses fading into the rain.

A couple, the protagonists of the scene, walk protecting each other from the rain and the strong wind; they walk huddled together, their figures slightly leaning, yielding to the pressure of the wind.

The texture of the oil stands out in the work, its reliefs, and the thickness of the paint. The piece is a representation of human connection, intimacy, and the beauty of everyday moments.
