By experiencing nature, one enters into a symbiotic contact with it, projecting one's soul into what nature shows us and assimilating into one's spirit what it gives us.
Sometimes nature rewards you by offering you a spectacle in which it humbly provides the backdrop and entrusts you with the leading role.
Such was the case in this painting, where trees and plants along a red earthen path seemed to celebrate my passage.
And I walked happily on the red carpet.

This painting was painted en plein air in August 2019, on a path in the marshy area of Lake Massaciuccoli, Tuscany.
The work is painted in oil on paper, then stretched on 100% linen canvas mounted on a custom-made fir wood frame.
The signature is in the lower left corner.
The painting is protected with a layer of satin acrylic varnish.
The work is delivered with a thin pine frame, which deliberately shows the knots in the wood to better match the natural subject. It is ready to hang.
The work is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
"Walking happily on the red carpet” is the literal translation of the original Italian title "Cammino felice sul tappeto rosso".
