Golden and Liquidex Pro Acrylic colours on acid free Fabriano cold pressed watercolour paper, 300 gm, 28 x 39 in. , 70.5 x 99.5 cm.
The large size and soft surface of the paper has freed me up to better express abstract colour … within the outlines of the subject, people out for a stroll, the body language, the expressions. But it’s really all about the colour play. And the paints are bright so the whole project is like a sunny morning.
The close up pictures allow a better feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting. Then there’s the work in progress. And that’s me holding up the painting to put things into perspective.
