Original artwork description:

My local town is fortunate to have a large area of gently sloping common land, which is
much used by local people walking their dogs. Last Summer I spent a couple of hours there wandering about sketching. Walking on the Common is loosely based on my experience, supported by sketches and notes of the outing. Painted on a Burnt Sienna ground which shows at the edges, text has been added to the sides Left 'Walking' right 'On the Common.' Presented ready to hang unframed.
Signed on bottom edge in pencil, titled signed and dated on the reverse. Shipped carefully packed in a box dispatched with a track and trace identity.
