Inspired by some bright spring days in London, when everyone celebrates the sunshine after a long, dark winter.

This piece is part of the Cityscapes collection. It stems from a bit of nostalgia because of the inability to travel as freely as before. It is a reflection of my feelings associated with different places - especially their vibrancy, colours and dynamic qualities. Some of these places I've been to - and the piece is inspired by my own experience of it. Others I have not - and those reflect a certain idea of the place. Sometimes romantic and naive, I suppose, at other times down to earth, but always joyful and full of life. I hope these are the qualities you will see when you look at this piece, along with all the memories that you might have made there
