Original artwork description:

The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is wild and rugged in many parts and we walked this section whilst staying at St Davids. Wild ponies roam the open countryside and maybe nibble the heather that covers the moors. Wild storms can batter the coast but on this day the breeze was soft and warm.
The painting is made with my usual palette of cobalt blue, raw sienna and light red but with alizarin crimson and a touch of paynes grey in the heather. The paper is Saunders Waterford High White 200lb.

Materials used:

Windsor & Newton artist quality watercolours; Cobolt Blue, Light Red, Raw Sienna on Saunders Waterford 200lb paper.
