Original artwork description:

This is a painting of walking across Morcambe Bay for Galloways, a local charity that helps blind people in the area.
It's a very special thing to walk across Morcambe Bay, you need to do it with a guide who knows the tides and where the quicksand is. We did it on the hottest day of the year, all ages and several dogs came along and it was glorious!
In this painting I wanted to capture the mixture of heat and light of the day. We wore yellow T shirts for the charity and we waded through rivers and across damp sand reflecting the blue of the sky, so the painting became a mainly blue and yellow painting.
