Some days are like this. I just want a raw/rough picture, expressive, loose. You know what the subject is, and that they are out for a walk. I want to thank JJantak on flkr for his strangely inspiring photos… and allowing me to draw from them.
This raw paper is quickly becoming one of my faves. It absorbs the paint yet the brightness of the colours shines out. The resulting movement from brush stroke and spilled colours is exactly what I was looking for. The title suggests the situation.
The close up pictures are to get a feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting. Then there’s the work in process in my studio, and me with the painting for perspective.
