Original artwork description:

inspired by a photograph of the causeway that leads from Bamburgh to Lindisfarne in Northumberland and an archipelago off Sardinia, conflating both feelings inspired by the scenes, I tried to capture the mystical, spiritual quality of the Lindisfarne scene with the warm lapping waters leading through the archipelago. Using softer colours and a constant vision of where a path may ultimately lead, I wanted a dreamy, inviting quality to this painting. I hope it calls you in to share the tranquillity and warmth I think I can see in it.
this painting is ready to hang unframed, but I can arrange for my framer to create a floating frame if so desired.
