More from hospital waiting rooms. My health sucks. So I end up spending too much time in hospital waiting areas, clinic waiting rooms etc. I look around me and see other people also waiting… Suddenly I’m in a room full of potential sketch ideas, poses , and I’ve much to draw on….
These sketches are my exercise, my foundation to keep that side of the brain awake for when I enter my studio to work on my other bigger projects. Now there’s no more wasted time… Working fast and furious to capture the pose, the mood, the lines, before the people move on. The signature on my sketches is often just G, I try to remember to put the date.
