This work presents a landscape from an original angle. The spectator stands above the stage and looks from afar through the clouds.
However, this astonishing point of view was not the main concern of the artist. Its symbolic value was the driving force. The artist's wish is to communicate a means of stemming the current gloom generated by events on the scale of the planet.
This is not to deny the difficulties, but simply to take a step back from them.

The proximity of a serious event creates anxiety that focuses all the attention on problems and creates new ones.
The recoil, the distance, eases the tension and promotes a more objective view.
Therein lies the symbolism of this work, to get out of the vicious circle of fear, to reach a state of calm which opens the mind.
