Let me welcome you and invite you to know more about this painting through the next few lines, This painting is the first painting I produced after the features of my artistic project became more clearer, which will deal in most of its work the subject of ancient Egypt or the so-called error of Egypt Pharaonic period of time, but let me first tell you something about this painting was a turning point in my mind before I start explain its content, almost all of my works that I did it before this painting was done by adopting a position filled with tension and uncomfortable at all, while I was doing any painting or even start the initial sketches I use to take it very seriously more than what it takes and feel as if this is the painting that will raise me to the highest grades with one jump, like it will change my life by 180 degrees, therefore I start to load it by too many exaggerated expectations, which in turn robbed me of all the fun feelings that I should feel while doing the work, and of course I was upset when I did not even get a quarter of those expectations, but something happened during my work with this painting, somehow I realized that this painting and each painting I paint is just a step, a step that based on the previous one and the next step will based on it, It's that simple and it's a good idea to relax a little bit and enjoy a lot, as long as I do everything I can to get the job done as well as possible, is not it better ?, let us now return to the theme of the painting, the main idea that I wanted to show its aesthetics through this work is ancient Egyptian cityscape, as you can see through a general view that the spectator can view the city from the top, sending his eyes to the horizon, I wanted this scene to be a surprise for the spectator, I also wanted to show the intimacy of the city and its small warm houses adjacent to the great temple and as if they were sheltering or resorting to it, I chose the time of the dawn which a time without people to surround the city with that beloved romance, the swarm of pigeons and those small fumes that come out of the roofs of houses are signs that the city has just awakened and yawning to start a new day, and the temple is standing tall next to the city as if it protects its identity, Now you may wonder, but what about the harp player ? in fact she does not take the championship in this scene as you might guessed, but she share it with the city that is about to wake up, she sits above the city as if she were riding it or as a symbol of the sleeping city, closing her eyes while she is playing on her harp make her seems like she is swimming in her own dreams ,she is looking unruly and caring about nothing but sending this secret hymns to the new sunrise through the sky of her city, with all her feelings she is absorbed in a daily ritual for a holy prayer she use to do it, the subject in its entirety is no more than a certain state of feelings I wanted to express, In the end, I hope you enjoyed this piece of work which took more than three hundred hours of work to complete
