My town's daily vegetable market provides endless inspiration for my paintings. In this piece, I was particularly drawn to the intricate details of a woman's saree, which I rendered meticulously, using a colored pen to capture its patterns. The foreground vegetables are also depicted with detailed precision, while the leafy greens and background are rendered in a more impressionistic style.
This original watercolour piece is painted on a 300 gsm Lanaquarelle CP watercolour paper using Artist-grade paints. Signed and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
