Original artwork description:

A textured abstract piece inspired by Matthew McConnaughey's book Greenlights. The book is autobiographical, but is also a mantra for recognising and grasping life's opportunities. Reading this struck a chord and this painting is the result - it represents the book's sense of optimism, but also incorporates some 'redlights' as a reminder that we must be patient and wait for the lights to turn green (hence the piece's title).
