It's not obvious, but I used just about every shade of blue that Grumbacher offers on Wag More; thalo blue, ultramarine blue, process cyan blue, cobalt blue, and cerulean blue. It's pretty subtle. Most are blended in the glazed background, and some on the wild, overlaying shapes. Even if I intend to paint an emotion like peacefulness, calm, mellow, what I paint almost always evolves to the emotions of joy, fun, exuberance or playfulness. That's when the vivid, contrasting pigments get pulled off my shelf and end up on my brushes and palette knives, ready to launch. Next a bit of metallic gold and silver were just the thing to give it a little gleam to catch your attention when you walk by. How could I be so lucky that my subconscious takes over when I paint and pushes me towards just about every positive emotion a person can have? Painting makes me Wag More.
Wag More arrives prewired, ready to hang.
