Vyborg is an old town in the westernmost part of Russia. It has preserved the architecture of different centuries. Here you can see the streets with houses of the 19th century and the fortress and buildings of the 12th-15th century. This creates a unique historical atmosphere of the city.
I painted this watercolour in the open air on the street that leads to the sea and the old fortress. It was evening and the sun painted the walls of the houses in an ocher color. In this city and in this artwork, the present and the past are connected.

The artwork was painted by good quality professional watercolors paints on cellulose watercolor paper. The artwork has a white margin around the edge of the paper. This will allow you to frame it in a mat without losing the image field.
Size of the artwork: 21x31,5 cm
Paper size: 24x35 cm

The artwork is titled and signed on the front and also comes with a certificate of authenticity.

I recommend to decorate the artwork in a frame with a passepartout (a mat) under glass. So it looks stylish and will be safe. You might find to be cheaper to frame it at your local stores under the specifications that best matches your needs.

DELIVERY
This original painting will be individually packed and shipped in a cardboard box. The artworks will be wrapped in archival acid free paper, between a foam board and cardboard and inside a PVC bag for humidity protection. An Authenticity Certificate will also accompany this artwork.
