I have spent many vacations on the coast enjoying the beaches and trails. There is obvious beauty everywhere: The sun rising and setting over the ocean, the water itself, the soft rise of the sandy, rose-lined paths leading to the beach.

But, as in life, the small things can be overlooked and unappreciated. I attempt to capture the obscure so the viewer might look at the world a little more closely to find beauty hidden in plain view around us.

This sunset over the Atlantic at Herring Cove Beach was stunning. As always, cars lined the lot, cell phones up to capture the dazzling colors. As dusk fell, I noticed this lone gull heading toward the horizon. I have two versions of this photo: One soaring and one working its wings so it is able to do so.

This image is available in the following Limited Edition sizes. Prices may increase as editions sell:
(20) 30" x 15" (28 x 13 + 1 inch border)
(90) 20 x 10" (18 x 8” + 1 inch border)

When the above limited editions sell out, the image will no longer be printed and sold as such. The artist reserves the right to use this image for commercial purposes.

The photo is printed with a 1" border on Kodak Endura Lustre paper, unmatted, unframed. If you prefer not to have a border, please let me know and I will remove it so the image size will be enlarged to the size of the base dimensions.

The photo will be signed and numbered on the back with archival ink and you will receive a certificate of authenticity.
