Artwork description:

A woman I greatly admire inspired this piece. But just as much as Frida Kahlo and her strength and beauty made me want to create this picture so did my love for Mexico. A place I have travelled and a country I yearn to go back to one day. 'Viva La Vida' is a simple enough philosophy yet quite a hard one (for me at least) to always follow but to be able to remind myself every time I look at this image that yes I am to "Live Life", can only be a good thing.
The edition consists of 12 prints only. Six of which are red and green and six of which are blue and yellow.

Please be aware that as I hand print each of these pieces that there will be small differences in colour texture, this is the unpredictable nature of linocut prints and why each piece has its own unique quality!

Materials used:

Somerset satin 300gsm and oil based printing ink
