Pure joie de vivre and boundless energy - that is what this Golden Retriever dog radiates for me and why I painted it after the wonderful photo of a friend. The gentle rays of the sun bathe the wintry mudflats on the North Sea island of Amrum in a magical light.
The motif is continued at the edges so that the picture can be hung without additional framing.
