Memories of my trips to the Caribbean, the electric turquoise water and the vast moody skies. This painting I wanted the expressive brushwork to show as it merged from delicate shades of grey, blue, turquoise and soft yellow. The sky is not menacing, it is more of an organic display of colour and form. I added a hint of coral at the horizon and a sailboat skimming across the water. It has a very abstract quality.

This is an original signed piece of art. Remember, there is always so much more detail and subtle color than a photograph can capture, so if you like it here you will love it in person. It is ready to hang in the frame less style, but a frame could be added if desired.
