Original artwork description:

This floral artwork touches the boundaries of abstraction with its treatment. Violet is a strong color and it has been enhanced by the white of the canvas. I poured acrylic inks on the canvas and let them run freely, finding their own place on the surface. Expressive brushstrokes merely helped them along, creating a drooping flower with shiny violet petals with yellow center. It was a conscious decision not to overdo things, leaving some areas unpainted. Expressive squirts of paint, drips and sprays create the feeling of energy and use of gold paint in some areas adds elegance to this artwork.
Painted on a standard stretched canvas, the artwork has been varnished for added protection.

Framing:
It has been framed using a smooth white wooden tray frame, no backing is used. Kindly allow 5-7 days to ship.
