This figurative sculpture has been created from one 12" vinyl music record - nothing has been added to the original circular material, nor removed. The label has been retained and matte varnished. Mounted on varnished Scottish oak with fluorescent blue perspex middle and angular cut edge (16 x 7.5 x 5.5cm).
The sculptures are caught in states of movement, dance and musing. Function becomes form.
