Original artwork description:

This figurative sculpture has been created from one whole 12" vinyl music record (Jovanotti, 'Walking (Dance Version)'), and mounted upon a 24 x 12 x 3cm clear acrylic base with unpolished edges. The female figure is elevated in space by 3 coloured perspex rods. The liquid-like form has been created using various heat sources, with the modern materials maintaining a fine art aesthetic.

The sculptures are caught in states of movement, dance and musing. Function becomes form.

Materials used:

12" vinyl record, perspex and acrylic base
