Original artwork description:

This original artwork is done in August of 2016 in Manglisi, which is a preferred summer holidays spot for Tbilisians in Georgia. Many families spend their entire summer in this mountainous village. I was visiting friends late August of 2016 and was renting this room at the old wooden house. The whole day I was somewhere around in the plein air, and in the afternoon was returning to this cozy vintage abode. The room was like from the old pictures and reminded me the house of my ancestors in the Western Georgia that I visited in my childhood. I wanted to convey the feeling of nostalgia for my happy childhood years and hopefully the viewer can get it. Painted on a canvas board, the picture needs to be framed. It is signed in front with my initials in Georgian "Z" "Sh" (ზ.შ.). I did two paintings of this room. One is already sold to the private collection to the USA.
