Original artwork description:
This is the first in a series of mixed media paintings featuring vintage pots. I started with an acrylic background of pale pink and grey and then selected some collage papers to use for the pottery and foliage. These collage papers are monoprints which I make in batches without any preconceived idea of what they are to be used for. When selected they were then cut in vase shapes and reassembled to form the image. The artwork is varnished and supplied in an unglazed white inset frame.
