Original artwork description:

'Vintage Dress II' is one of only a few remaining figurative works available from the artist's figurative painting years of 2000 - 2016. This work was inspired by a handmade vintage dress from the 1940s which was given to the artist by a family member. The muted violet color of the dress's lace is enhanced by the Venetian red background.

This painting is created in oil on double primed canvas. Professionally framed in a warm pewter-colored (cool light gold) frame made of carved wood ( selected specifically for the piece by the framer to enhance the ambiance of the work), this painting is ready to hang with framed dimensions of 32" x 26" x 2"

The work has been sealed with Gamblin Gamar varnish for UV protection. The painting, signed on the front and back, will be sent with a certificate of authenticity
