Travel broadens the mind they say, I would like to add, the soul and heart, as the late summer sun turns the vineyards in Tuscany into a patchwork of golden lanes through which you can meander and taste the air filled with scents that offer a hint of the delicate liquid offerings to come.

I am drawn to the relationship of colours and light that emerge from the earthly palette that gives rise to the vines and their myriad of hues held together by almost invisible lines that thread their branches like an enchanted seamstress.
