Original artwork description:
Falscheid is the neighboring village to my own home village of Eidenborn in the Saarland region of Germany. Although primarily a plein air artist, there are occasions when I prefer working indoors, such as on days like this when my feet would freeze in my boots and my painting water would freeze on my palette! While out walking with my dog on a snowy day, I captured this scene on camera to create a small watercolor back home in my studio. See also: “Schaumberg in Winter,” the view looking in the other direction on the same day.
