Original oil painting by Irene Makarova. My works are in many collections around the world.

I like to paint in the open air, I think that any artist should make sketches from life. This painting was made during a Plein air in Russia. I stood near a small picturesque pond and watched what was happening on the other side of the pond. I was attracted by the colourful roofs and beautiful landscape, and life itself. I tried to capture that moment of life…
